Inspired by the abundant Flat Crown trees found across its Elaleni Estate site, this international award-winning home is conceived as a simple canopy that connects its occupants to the surrounding landscape. The design opens towards a private, sun-filled northern courtyard while framing views south into the site’s natural conservation area. Its distinctive form brings a sense of architectural expression and intrigue, while full-height glass sliding doors disappear into the walls to transform the living spaces into one generous entertainment area. The result is a refined family home shaped by its landscape, natural light and connection to the outdoors.
